Cookie & Tracking Policy

• We use only two categories of cookies: strictly necessary (for the site to work) and analytics (to understand aggregate usage).
• No advertising cookies. We don't run ads, and we don't share data with advertising networks.
• No cross-site tracking. We don't follow you around the web.
• You can disable non-essential cookies at any time through your browser. The site will still work.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognize you on your next visit. Modern web apps also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB. In this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these browser-storage techniques.

Cookies can be:

• First-party — set by the site you're visiting (GiftFeels).
• Third-party — set by an external service that we embed (for example, a payment processor or an analytics provider).
• Session — deleted when you close the browser.
• Persistent — stored until they expire or until you clear them.

GiftFeels groups cookies into two plain-English buckets:

• Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core behavior (e.g. keeping your progress while building a gift). Legally, these don't require consent.
• Analytics — help us understand aggregated, de-identified usage so we can improve the product. In the EU/UK/EEA we only load these after you give consent via the cookie banner.

We do not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, social-media tracking pixels, or retargeting tags.

This is every first-party cookie or browser-storage key GiftFeels may set. Third-party cookies are listed in the next section.

Some embedded services may set their own cookies under their own policies. We only load these when necessary for the feature you're using:

• Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, Razorpay) — only loaded on the checkout flow for Paid Features. Used for fraud prevention and payment security.
• Analytics provider — only if you consent in the cookie banner. We configure the provider to anonymize IP addresses where possible.

These third parties act as independent data controllers under their own policies. Please review their privacy notices for details.

We use analytics to see which pages are popular, which templates are used most, and where users drop off — so we can fix broken flows and build features people actually want. We look at aggregate data, not individual user behavior.

We never combine analytics data with your gift content, and we never sell it.

You have multiple ways to control cookies:

• Cookie banner — in regions that require consent, our banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice later from the footer.
• Browser settings — every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies. Instructions:

• Device-level controls — most phones and tablets offer privacy settings to limit tracking system-wide.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site (for example, saving a draft gift).

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by California's CCPA/CPRA. The older "Do Not Track" header is not a widely-supported standard, so we don't rely on it alone; please also use our cookie banner to express preferences.

We may update this Cookie Policy if our tracking practices change or as new regulations come into effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the latest version was published. For material changes, we'll re-prompt for consent in regions where it's required.
